[HIGH FIVE] We gave Chris Green (“CG”), a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA.

WellcommDC: Where do you work…out?

Chris Green: Running is my first love, so you’ll often catch me running around the city. When I’m not running, I’m dropping into different group fitness classes throughout DC and VA.

WDC: What does wellness mean to you?

CG: To me, wellness means taking care of my most important investment: myself. It’s about moving my body, relieving stress, and building habits that support both physical and mental health. Wellness doesn’t discriminate: it’s for everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from.

WDC: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

CG: I want to expand my Personal Training Business "FOREVER STRONG" across the city and share what I have to offer through two to three fitness events showcasing my talent.

WDC: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

CG: Some people who inspire me are Marcus Lowe, Lauren Polovoy, Jason Vanterpool, and Dre Howard.

WDC: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

CG: Start small and accomplish one thing at a time. I’ve seen too many people fall short because they try to tackle everything at once, get overwhelmed, and ultimately quit. Focus on one goal at a time, and as you accomplish it, add more. And lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for help or to pivot if needed. Wellness isn’t a straight line from A to B: you have to be fluid.
